Anyone ever had the burger at Savoy? I never order it (because the hot plates are so good) but it always looks damn good with the fresh bun.

I like Smashburger as far as fast food chains, but I wish Tulsa would get a Five Guys, My hotel in Olathe was next to one and I loved it. I moved about a month before the one in Moore opened, so I never have tried one in OK.

Rumor has it that five guys is coming to Tulsa.

Not surprised. I'd like 5 guys better if they'd peel the potatoes before cutting the fries, or at least take the time to pare the bad spots out of 'em. Have been to the 5 guys in Tempe, AZ many times, and at a few other places.

Thanks for mentioning Billy Rays. We eat there often, but I had never thought to try a burger. We tried one today and thank you for the recommendation.

Ate at Lot-A-Burger today, pretty good burger. One that really surprised me though, was Billy Rays on 15th. For a catfish and bbq place, they make a really good charbroiled cheese burger.

Can't comment on Tulsa but since they are kind of universal and in OKC also:

Big name chain...5 Guys or Smashburger
Small privately owned...S&B Burgers
Small chain...Ron's Burgers & Chili (my overall fave is the "sausage cheeseburger!" Quite possibly the best burger on earth)

Crowburger and sweet potato fries at Crow Creek Tavern, 34 & south Peoria,Tulsa. After that, Goldies w/cheese at 51 & Lewis. I probably lean towards the Crowburger due to owner Vince having a full service bar, liquor license, rum & cokes. at the ready.
