I have the itch to buy pick up a Glock. The only thing I know for sure is that it will be a .40. I have a sig 229 and a full size m&p both in .40 so I want to keep the same caliber. I will keep this pistol in my farm truck just for $h!ts and giggles and the stray badger flooding. Here is what I can't decide. First, G22 or 23? Second Gen 3, Gen 4. If these 4 pistols are all the same price, which would you buy? I already have a great carry gun, but I might carry it every now and then. Also, if you could buy the G35 for $80 more would you? Help this guy decide what my next purchase will be!

Also for your enjoyment, here is a video of Dad and I flooding out a badger. These guys wreck havoc on our farm so during the slow winter months we do our best to kill as many as possible. Skip the first 1:40 unless you just want to listen to water run.

As long as your not going to put a light on it I would say G22 2nd or 3rd gen whichever you can get cheaper. there is always somewhere selling police trade in G22's so you should be able to pick one up for under $400.
If you plan to put a light on it then go with the gen 4.

I agree with this. If it is not going to be a carry gun, I would go with the G22. You can find them cheap.

I have a glock 23 and love it. Not only I can shoot .40 caliber ammo, I bought a 40 - 9 conversion barrel from lone wolf.
Now I can shoot 9mm ammo to. A lot cheaper to go to the range that way. Plus you have to buy a glock 19 magazine as well.
