1. No anchor babies. At least 1 parent must be a U.S. citizens before a child is a citizen

2. Mandatory military service before citizenship is granted

3. Huge freaking wall along the border

i agree almost completely jb.we need a refined path to citizenship. it needs to be affordable and as easy to get as the paperwork for assistance. i have a good friend who crossed the river in 1986. i have maet many people that he knows. many work for cash but get assistance also and drive nicer trucks than mine!therefore, a work program must be in place. lord knows we could use the revenue generated by it
college should not be subsidized either. it wasn't for my family and sometimes it takes a few generations to change your family tree. in the meantime, the value of hard work and sacrifice is born.

Again, after your Epifamy we agree on illegal immigration mostly. I still have a major problem with parents benefitting from the crimes of their parents.

Should a child of a bank robber be allowed to keep the million dollars stolen from the bank?

You do see the flaw with this right? You're comparing something physical (money from a bank) with something impossible to reclaim (an education). I'm not saying its not a problem, but the notion that deporting people who have grown up here and been educated here just because their parents violated the law doesn't make much sense. You have no way to receive compensation for the investment.

heres a large part of the current problem, a illegal woman has a baby in the USA, she goes to our hospital, has the baby she is without insurance we flip the bill, then that baby somehow becomes a US citizen (someone please show me where it says that in our constition)now that baby is entitled to food stamps houseing assistance, welfare mediare/medicaid obama phone etc.
now how are we going to export this new citizen and their family.
we being bilked out of millions we pay the govt to help us if we need assistance,
And yes we need to close our borders, and those illegals that have been here for a decade or so, and are productive people without a criminal record should probably get to stay, but even as we talk about this subject there are more and more uneducated & criminal types walking into our country, the well educated mexican is not sneeking into the US!
were simply being invaded by thugs gangs and illiterate poverty stricken people
at some point all of us will have to deal with this issue and just a couple of other small problems were haveing
when will we all wake up and show our govt were tired of being taken advantage of, or do we watch our great nation crumble to a 3rd world country that thousands and thousands of our fore fathers, grandfathers, sons & daughters have died before us so we can live in this great nation Free

21 million Americans unemployed and without a job. Why would we need a guest worker program? We need to first get those Americans off of unemployment and the public tit. Get them back to work even if they don't want to be roofers or fruit pickers. You wanna eat, you gotta work. After all those Americans are put back to work then maybe, just maybe.
