Starter relay is up on top as 4play mentioned in his post. Can't miss it, lots of wires. There's also a silver rectangular glow plug control module on the passenger valve cover, but your symptoms don't point to this.

Ok everyone here is a little update...

I found a great video on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGFCIZqUNbs) and determined that when I would do the little "Jumper" with some 10Ga wire, the starter would kick in and the truck would turn over!

So that means that much is good! I hear the in cabin relays make noise, so now I need to pull the switch off the transmission! I'll work on that this afternoon. NOTE** I did try to start the truck with/without the break pressed and with the truck in Neutral. Nothing happened so I can only assume the sensor is misaligned.

I'll keep you posted!

What year is it? The later model 7.3/6/0's (02-up) had the starter relay located in the central junction/fuse block. This is the one behind the dash panel under the steering column. Go ahead and swap this relay with another one but mark it first in case its bad so you dont mix it up with a good one. here is a pic of fuse box. The starter relay is in the upper RH corner of pic. Fuse #'s 31,51,61 are related to the relay and starting circuits

Ok so I switched the starter relay for the rear defroster relay and it started! It took it a couple of seconds to fire up, but it started. I'll replace the bad relay, do I need to go to ford or can I just go to orielly's?

With the new batteries, I'm surprised it didn't turn over faster... I'll keep an eye on everything! Thank you all for your help, support and suggestions!!

Yea, those relays are pretty generic and should be able to find one at any auto parts store. You dont need to ask for a "starter relay", just have them match it up.

JesseR. Thanks for keeping us informed. Great trouble shooting technique in switching those relays. I'll put that in my tool box of knowledge for later. Glad to hear you found the culprit.

Disconnect the battery cables when charging them to seperate them and charge each one. Make sure you allow the glow plugs to heat for at least 15 seconds even in the summer and much longer in colder temps. for faster/easier stat ups.
