No complaints about the last 16 years with this company execpt that the owners decided it was time to retire and put me our of a job.
If they would have lasted anothr 3 years I would have went with them.

Pssssh, I got here at 6 today. Nuff said!

That's real close to what time I start 7 days a week. And that's not a complaint. Other than it seems impossible to get a date off when I have something I wan to do I really have no gripes.

i work in the receiving department of a big box home improvement retailer. in receiving, we get a set schedule, which pisses off the rest of the store. so they use my department as a dumping ground, which i and my 3 coworkers get to clean up 5 days a week.

we are also monitored on camera, and if two or more are in the receiving office at one time for more than a minute, we can expect a phone call from upper management asking if we need something to do, because they can find something for us...

but at least i can look forward to a 2.5% pay increase every year.

Well, other than the pay, I reckon my job is perfect. Like the people I work with, and I like what I do.

I got all of the equipment I proposed for my department! ($500,000+)

The training on how to install, maintain and operate said equipment... denied. ($18,000)

Uhhhummmmm.......I got nuthin'. I have a good job that pays well, for bosses I like and respect, and really great benefits.

My job is with the Government and the politics piss me off more and more each year. The wastefull spending, the "good ol boy" system of promotions and contract awards etc. I do make good money though and I only need to make it 5 more years and I can leave with my meager pension and go do something else - non government.
