Yes. just a sticker. I have a similar kit on my Mossy shotgun. Been on for about 3 years with zero peeling or problems. Mine came from Mossy Oak, but it's the same stuff.

If get the kit, make sure to totally degrease the surfaces you are sticking to and use a blow dryer to make corners and creases look better.

Kit will remove without leaving any crud behind, but it's an SOB to get off.

good luck!

Why not do hydro dipping instead? I think it gives better results thanthis, I thought what he did in that video looked like **** personally. Or get someone to teach you to rattle can it? Dipping would be less permanent though.

Dipping is pretty darn permanent if you ask me.

I've heard with a heat gun and starting at a corner, you can peel the dipped skin right off with a little effort.... maybe I was given false info? Seemed plausible, and the guy was working at a hydro dip booth at a gun show, so I didn't question him, or maybe I misheard him.

I know it's multi step process, so maybe he was meaning before it was done, if there was an error, he could remove it and redo it? Heck, I dunno....

Yeah, dipping is virtually determinant. There's no way to truly get back to the factory finish after hydro dipping.

At the same time, I wouldn't put stickers on a $1700 AR either.

My cheap, old Mossberg Maverick 88 is a different story.
