There's not a way to narrow their search down enough. I have a very generic name. There's over 54 pages of results. That's why I did the OSBI check by social security number.

I would also Check OSCN, though Lincoln county is not an OSCN county the ID thieves could have done something in one of the OSCN participating counties, and you can narrow your search there via DOB

Well, the DA has dismissed all charges against me thankfully. Now to figure out where to file a police report. I live in OKC, and in Cleveland County. I'll try talking to OKCPD first, then talk to Cleveland Co. Sheriff if I get no where at the OKCPD.

The place to start is where the offense was supposed to have occurred. Start with the agency that issued the ticket. They are the ones that received the information that started this mess.

Same thing OKCPD told me when I talked to their detective. It was OHP that issued the ticket, but the OKCPD detective believes I'll have to talk to the Lincoln County Sheriff Dept's Detective to do anything. He said he's pretty sure that OHP wouldn't touch it even though they issued the citation.

The LCSO's detective is out of office for the day, but I at least already have a new driver's license, so my old number is now void.

Man, what a mess. I'm glad the DA didn't give you a hard time. If you want I'll ask GC when he gets home if OHP will take a report for you.

That would be great information to have, yes, thank you, please!

Everyone I've talked to LEO wise and judicial wise has seemed bamboozled on what exactly to do. Everyone from the OSBI people I've talked to, to the DA (or assistant DA, not sure which she is) on who to talk to. She told me herself to report it here, and I'm getting a report it there from here. OSBI pretty much said hell, I have no clue, but good luck on getting it clean up (she actually told me the last part of that statement).

Head + wall = ME

guns....going to choot the chit out of some guns in Elk City tomorrow. I'm going to fill the air full of hot lead, powder, sweat, and sex.... ok maybe 3 out of 4....

Also to add...the OHP HQ number I have for them is CONSTANTLY busy. I've tried lots of times of the course of 3 days, and haven't gotten it to ring a single time. (405) 425-2424

I've also been told to call the DPS about it, BUT I'm waiting to open that can of worms until I pretty much have too. There's starting to get to bee too many letters involved as it is.

OK, let me see what I can find out. It might be tomorrow because I'm not sure when he'll be home, and I might not be able to help you at all, but I'll get with you either way

That number you listed for OHP is never answered. The County detective or Investigator would be the one to take a report or file charges for identity theft. If another person actually had a false copy of your DL, that makes it a felony and the complaint would have to be filed in the county it occurred in.

That makes sense. Thank you for that.

I'm just guessing here, but I think that the county sheriff in the county you reside would be the one to file anything that actually might get some traction.
