Good. I married one 24 years ago. Fell in love with her 4 yr old daughter as well and she became my own. The single mom I dated (later married) was in her mid 20s. She was more "grounded" than other women I was dating at the time. With the responsibility of a child, she was more mature and responsible.

No Issues for me. My wife was a single mom when I met her, the thing I had to remember was that she was single for a reason and that reason may be totally her fault or no fault of hers at all. Baggage comes with everyone, me, you and them, just have to ensure the lines of communication are open and develope with the relationship so neither one of ya hits a hot button without knowing it. My wife was in an abusive marriage both mentally and physically prior to our meeting. I assumed no one was that much of a prick and looked for behavior from her that could have caused her ex to be a prick. None then or now. There are many great single moms out there and more than a few looking for a bread winner or that has deceptive means. By and large, I would (if single) not hesitate to date a single mom again, Good luck.

Yeah I'm divorced (5 year marriage, 1 year out), no kids. She never married, one 3 yr old, no contact although I suspect he will be back and not because of her. We definitely both have our baggage.

If the "baby daddy" is in the picture at all, then I vote a resounding "NO." He can make your life absolutely miserable until the youngest child turns 18, and possibly for years afterward (think weddings, birthdays, holidays, etc.).

And yes, this is from personal experience. However, it's your call... :drunk2:
