I haven't done much shotgunnin but I think my wife, daughters and I could enjoy shooting some clay. I came up with an electric thrower and some clays. Already have a Spainish made 20ga SxS but I'm thinking I should get an Auto for the daughters. An auto should have less recoil. I read that a gas auto will shoot softer than an inertia auto. So, what do y'all recommend in a 20ga gas gun. A youth stock would be good. It will be strictly for shooting clays. I would like to buy a cheaper one for starters. If they all really get into it and it looks like a more expensive model would have benefits we can address upgrading then. Thanks y'all

@D. Hargrove the Franchi left me today and this cash is burning a hole! Lol
I wanted to keep it bad but the 12 woulda been a lil stout for the girls. I figured I could get an auto and have extra cash.

Weatherby SA-08 or Winchester SX3 both in 20g. Less recoil than any Rem 1100 out there and trustworthy. Have seen dozens of them come through the 4H Shooting Sports and ATA in kids hands of all sizes. Save the sxs and O/U until they get used to shooting some. Remember if you start so cheap that it's not a good fit or a tolerable gun, they won't want to shoot it anyway.

Yep, try the SxS first and see if the kids really do like shooting clays. Use Winchester Low Recoil / Low Noise shells (in the black boxes) for a considerably milder experience.
