Making a lower reciever from mild steel

All this chat about rules and regs and laws about 3D printed firearms got me thinking.
I bet it would not be really hard to make a lower from some mild steel you had laying around.

They have been made out of wood, heavy sheet, thin plate. Using welds, or screws/bolts.

GunCraft101 did it and had a hell of a job getting the pour right. Interesting watch.
