I’m curious if any complaints were made while he was in the Navy or before he became famous.

Well, in the case of the woman that I knew, I asked her about reports, complaints, etc.

Her comment basically was no one believes me.
He's famous and rich.
What good would it do?

That not believing what people have to say is a big problem I have.
I went most of my life with my parents and others not believing what I had to say.
Mostly because I had lying sisters. Bible thumping lying sisters. That is the worst kind.
I have disowned all of them.
I hope people change gears on that not believing situation.

I feel really sad for your lady friend Dave.

Bill Cosby's publicist said that Cosby's trial was the most racist trial in the history of this country. I doubt the veracity of that statement, because Cosby himself said he used Quaaludes to put women to sleep. Ah well, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't-racism that is...

I knew someone a long time ago who had first hand experience with this.

We were talking (this was around '83) and the subject of Cosby came up.

She visibly changed in her demeanor and told us all how he was not the nice guy that everyone thought that he was and that she hated him intensely.

Asking why, she basically detailed exactly the same thing that these women in the trial detailed.

Thirty years before it became public.

I didn't believe her and told her as much.

I wish I could apologize to her, that has bothered me for years.

Dave

Is an apology now too late? (No need to answer; just a thought on my part).
