Putting American flags on police cars sparks backlash in Laguna Beach

Have you ever been to Laguna Beach? It's a town chock full of rich'ish, yuppy, artsie fartsy, limp wristed types. I will admit the Pageant of the Masters is kind of cool. If they pay all those models it has to cost a Bill Gates style fortune to put it on, so that gives you an idea of their values. From wiki: "Laguna Beach (/ləˈɡuːnə/) is a seaside resort city located in southern Orange County, California, in the United States. It is known for a mild year-round climate, scenic coves, environmental preservation, and an artist community."

Like most of kommiefornia, it would've been a great place to live pre-1965.

We went to a friend's home last night and I was deeply offended that they had their name on their mailbox and it was different than mine. That is not only offensive, but also rather aggressive suggesting that their name was better than mine...

As for that area of California, Orange County "used" to be a pretty conservative area overall. However, with the state doing their style of primary elections and ballot harvesting, I suspect that the county is less conservative. They even want to change the name of John Wayne Airport because JW once said something that is now considered "offensive."

We should ask that California be kicked out of the union because they have "offended" us.

If it were another country I could understand their emotional traumas but this is the United States but I concede, it’s California. I don’t think the country will ever be unified again and I blame Obama. We’ve had nothing but turmoil during his reign and afterward. How can one person cause all the problems we’re having socially is beyond me.

The conservatives still in Orange County have moved south, closer to somewhat sane San Diego and further away from LA.

I can understand visiting foreigners, either just visiting or on work visas, not calling themselves Americans, but anyone who permanently resides in the US are Americans. The flag that our ancestors fought, killed and died for is there to represent ALL Americans. If the flag offends you then leave our soil.

One thing that really grinds my gears is going to homes that fly another nation's flag above ours. I've seen it many times and I so want to turn around and mark the job as inaccessible. I would love to be like that old marine who cut down the flags, left the Mexican flag on the ground and took the American flag, but alas I do need my job as it provides the roof, food, clothes and healthcare for my wife and I.

There is a guy that lives here in Shawnee that lives in our housing projects called prince hall and he has a huge Mexican flag in the back of his truck. The sucker has the audacity to fly the Mexican flag all the while he lives in his house for free and gets food stamps. This kind of crap makes me so mad I could explode. If Mexico is so dang great move there. Stop being a drain on our economy.
