K State deserved the win. They showed up to play and we didn’t. Both sides of the ball were terrible. OU does this every couple of years sadly. Iowa State ring any bells? But in the end I still hope OU does great the rest of the year. I don’t just root for them when they win. I was going to games during the Gary Gibbs- Shnellenburger-Blake years. It wasn’t pretty but I still had fun. Heck I remember going to OU football camp when Blake was head coach. It wasn’t ran very well but I enjoyed it. I stayed in the dorms with a buddy of mine. Felt like I was a player! I can say this, John Blake was a very nice man. I still remember how hard he grabbed me when he put his arm around me to take a picture.

Um, we are talking football. I know OSU is proud of all their national championships in golf and wrestling, but that doesn't apply here. Again, this discussion is about football.
Fair enough. Just hate to think Barry Sanders is the first, or only athlete to come to someone's mind about OSU. While we don't have OU's football legacy, we're not limited in greatness being defined by just football.
