New Options to Display Personal Pronouns for Faculty and Staff

The University of Central Oklahoma recognizes that name and gender identity are central to most individuals' sense of self and well-being. Pronouns are one way to affirm someone's gender identity. In another step toward creating a more inclusive campus community, faculty and staff now can display their personal pronouns on their university business cards and name badges, in addition to their email signatures and Central Directory profiles.

Early 2000's I had a young man working part time and going to college at OU. "Professor" gave him a B on an assignment not because he could find any errors but because the ass hat did not like the young mans politics. Back in those days the Prof had to relent and change the grade . Not sure that would happen in today's quagmire of elitist thought patrol.

Been around at OU longer than I have. Different groups want their personal labels. Honestly, I care less. It doesn't affect my job, doesn't make my job harder and doesn't affect my life at all. He was canned! There are only two sexes and it is determined by one's birth certificate. I am not going to change regardless of the PC from Washington or local. If someone is a male and says they are a female it is mental and they need the appropriate help.

OK. Didn't the government "steal" the land for the land runs? My memory of Oklahoma history prompts me to say that the Sooners were simply hiding out to stake their "spot" first, not that they stole the land from the natives.

If I'm correct in that the government stole the land, then those "snowflakes" need to NEVER take any kind of assistance from the government.
