@Cowcatcher beat me to it. Timay showed his skills into that ditch full of water and at an empty indoor range. Where he gave specs on the AR Rifle-pistol thingy. It has a PSA upper er um lower with an Aero upper. Clearly it was something different as you could see it was an Anderson or PSA the exact opposite of what he said.

All this talk don't matter though cause I am an operator and will cut you with my folding Karambit I got off Amazon for $16 before you could engage me. I make sure to always stay within 21 feet of all threats other than my wife when she is angry. Gunsite!

I’ve seen videos of Tim shootin into a ditch along side the road. Yes it was out in the country but I saw vehicles going by at an intersection maybe 75yds away. Tim don’t need no range. He had just assembled the AR to raffle off to help one of his other attention whore buddies deal with some legal issues. Rifle wasn’t cycling quite right but he said it just needed broke in some.
Saw that video and it scared me. I believe I recognized that road out by Mcloud and I drive it a lot. Or use to....

Big difference in rural and urban areas. Especially for those just trying to prove a point. You may have mentioned it before but what gun do you carry openly and in what holster? Have you had much training in handgun retention?

Yes. There is a big difference.
For .357 a leather holster with a hammer strap. For autoloaders retention holsters. I have one for my commander that only requires a twist to draw. Don't much care for it.
I have no FORMAL training dedicated SPECIFICALLY to handgun retention but i have studied it. Do you have a good course to recommend? I believe the more training the better. I don't believe a person can be near ready enough from simply shooting a few holes in paper every few months.

Many moons ago it was Michael Brown that stated never use your firearm as a talisman to ward away evil. Now I'm sure you have no idea who hes is, but let's just say he was a knowledgeable member around here in the beginning, that offered real world advice when it came to honest SD/CQ training. It hit home with me and never forgot it....

Either way.... consider this....

Oh and FWIW, if Spencer Keepers 6'2 @ 300LBs can carry AIWB, then pretty much anything is possible for IWB carry. Just sayin.
Thanks for the link. I'll check it out after i get caught up with this posting.

It’s a choice. Those who choose to carry concealed don’t have to make any special efforts to do so. There is also less chance of some idiot deciding they can take your gun from you. I’ve yet to hear what kind of gun or holster he carries but have seen yours. Do you have any training on weapon retention or just think your ninja awareness skills would allow you to prevent that?

Maybe you don't have to make any special effort to hide your weapon if you like wearing big T-shirts, especially if you're able to be comfortable with an in-waistband type of holster. I've found it's easy to carry anything under a vest or a coat. It's a different story in the summer time for somebody who wears western-style clothing, for example. It's a pain in the butt, unless one does not mind defending their family with a derringer.
