If you wanna wear a FOBUS, wear a FOBUS. It stumps me why someone would spend hundreds of dollars, sometimes more, for a good pistol, then stick it in a cheap holster. But hey, if that’s okay with you that’s all that matters really. Holsters are like about anything else, you only get quality if you are willing to pay for it.

Kind of like the guys who spend $1000’s on guns and $0 on training. Spend the $ on a decent holster made for it. As a special service announcement, if you carry a Fobus and honestly can’t afford a safe holster pm me your gun info and I’ll help get you one. Same thing goes for Serpa with the stupid trigger finger push button.

I've been seeing both here in the last week while going to customer's homes. I think I surprised one guy last week. Was coming back out to check on a phone issue and noticed the bottom of a OWB leather holster when entering. While testing at the modem I casually asked what he carried. He said I was observant. Well yeah, going into homes I tend to look for things like that. Not that I care usually (there have been a few people that somewhat worried me), but I try to be aware of who I am around on my job.

But yes, I've been seeing both concealed and OC here in the last two weeks. I didn't think we had regressed that far yet, but it never hurts to be prepared.

It’s regressed pretty far. The govt has us under more control than we thought they did.

Maybe we can start a community outreach program to rid OK of crap holsters.

I don't mean to dis on anyone personally for their holster choice...I have a couple cheap Kydex holsters laying around too, but I use them to store my handguns in mostly. They serve very well to protect the gun from safe dings and scratches as well as keep the trigger covered. (Well, I mean...I used to have multiple holsters and guns and stuff before that unfortunate thing at the lake...)

Some of us are just into high end holsters; I know I sure have spent a lot of money on them! So, to some, I might look like an idiot too for "wasting" money by spending $100-$150 bucks on a holster when a simple FOBUS is good enough. (And to some people, I might just look like an idiot period).

As is often said; to each his own.

Try putting a little baby powder on the seams of the holster, around the belt slots, and anywhere the holster/belt interfaces. Voila! Squeak be gone!
What? You want me to get that there Mesotheeelioma cancer from baby powder with the asbestos in it?
