That’s a good pie in the sky plan, but we all know the Fed will end up footing the bill, meaning you, me and all taxpayers bending over.
So, we have hundreds of people, breathing heavily, gathered together in close contact. Guess where the ne t outbreaks are going to happen. Millions of dollars of damage. At least one life lost.

Their actions, this time, were triggered by the actions of the cop. We just had the issue in Georgia, the black delivery driver being harassed here in OKC, and other similar events. Their actions are certainly wrong & criminal, but consider the history of race problems. Then we had Obama, and if anything, he just poured gas on the fire.
I sure don’t agree with anything these thugs have done, and certainly there are a good number of them that are there just for the looting, but if you talk with ordinary black men, you can begin to understand some of the crap they have lived with over the years.
A black moderate, (heard on the Radio today) said (I'm paraphrasing here) something like the anger of the black community over this and other injustices do not give them the right to destroy property and riot.
In fact some of the rioters are the same white anarchists that show up at the world trade economic meetings and G7 conferences that are traveling to join the riots. I'm seeing a pretty good percentage of white folks in those rioters so I'm not doubting that.
Do you know my background? What I've been through in life? I've been on the end of racism. I've been called racial slurs. I've been told I have no business talking about some things because I'm white, male and straight. I've had to deal with jackbooted cops before. There are a lot of things that happen, both directly to me and to others, that make me extremely upset. But never would I feel the need to destroy my neighbor's house, or business, or any other possession over my outrage.
I would agree if you stated the protests were triggered by the actions of this cop. However, the Mayor of Minneapolis from the get go fired the cops involved and started pressing for charges. And yet this people STILL protested, rioted, looted, and burned businesses in the area, for 3 fricken days straight! There is nothing, and I mean nothing, that justifies that. Had they destroyed some cop vehicles, broke the glass at a police station, stuff that was targeted at the police, I would understand that though I wouldn't agree with it.
Protesting is one thing, this, this is just barbaric, let the world burn, behavior.
Listening to some of the level thinking blacks, as well as those that are not so level headed, and then reading some of our posts here, is causing me to do some serious thinking.
Take a few moments and read back over some of the comments here about how it’s about time that we are going to have to take things into our own hands and resist the govt. Read those posts where we talk about how those lefties are just trying to take our guns away.
Now, swap some words around and see if maybe there are a great number of similar thoughts.
That darn Constitution has a bunch of Rights listed, and most of them pretty much say the government can’t do certain things. People can only take so much of one group “infringing” on those rights before they get a bit ticked off. There have always been a few racist cops that have given a bad name to the rest of the force, but like everything else, it’s the bad ones that cause the problems and catch all the attention.

Tanis, we all have memories of events, and you are right. Burning down a business isn’t right.
But, again, think about all our comments about how the time is coming when we may have to revolt because some politician wants to take our guns.
