One of the girls that helps with Sweetie surprised me with a huge plate for supper. Chicken fried pork steak smothered in gravy, mashed potatoes covered in gravy, and broccoli.

Man, it was good. The chicken fry was perfect, and cut easily with a fork.

Mike Morgan said we'll see blizzard conditions on Sunday, and then a low of -17 degrees below zero on Tuesday night. Supposed to get another significant round of snow on Wednesday of next week. We aren't forecast to get above freezing until a week from this Sunday. I posted this in another thread but think it's good enough info to post here too. No scrambling for ratings, no hype, no BS...just good, factual weather information.. There's also an App for your phone.

Folks are nuts, losing their collective minds.

We are out of ice melt, had 5 pallets come in last night, doors opened at 6am and folks are busting thru the doors trying to buy all there was, we had a limit then kept reducing the limit down, got yelled at...

We have no heaters, sorry folks, out and no more in bound.. more yelling....

Out of 20lb propane and small camp bottles of propane, sorry folks, no eta on resupply, more yelling only about how much I dont care if their babies freeze to death....

Out of generators, yup sorry folks no eta on resupply...again more yelling, what are we supposed to do when the power goes out..

Only bright spot was a couple walking out and the man mumbling about us being out of heaters, the wife smacked him on the arm and said well its not like you did not know we are in winter, it happens every year this time, you would think you would know to be prepared, LOL...as they walked out the door, I about lost it...LOL

Sounds like the folks on here that didn’t buy .22 when it was .03 per round two years ago complaining they are paying .10 per round now.

Instead of grocery shopping this weekend we decided we would do it this evening and beat the rush.

Good God! At Crest people had to wait to get a grocery cart. Bread was GONE. Luckily we got everything we needed between there and Aldi because wifey wants fried chicken for Valentines day dinner.

We are good for months. People don't need bread nor milk to survive. Plenty of dietary substitutes out there to satisfy the bodies requirements.
