Why so much arguing? Why do some people get so amped up over the stupid mask/no mask thing? Is this really worth it?

I'm not ridiculing you for wearing a mask. I'm talking about those who are trying to shame others into doing so. Talking about how they protect others..... like it or not.... THAT is virtue signaling.

This is OSA! Just pick a thread; any thread, and you can often easily find an argument, an insult contest, or just a simple derailing in full swing.

It's up to each person to make up his or her mind about wearing a mask.

I'm certainly not overly fond of wearing a mask when out and about but if there is only a minuscule chance that a mask may protect me from the other person or the other person from me I'll wear one.

We're in this for the long haul, world wide I don't feel that we are even close to being out of the woods with Covid.

I love seen people wearing the mask in a car and they are the only one in the car. Who are they protecting their self from? Is amazing how easily human being can adapt or be controlled. I heard that they are talking about 2 mask now?

Sometimes I come out of a store, get in the car, and get a half mile down the road before I realize I still have the mask on. You've probably seen me....

In terms about caring about others....where does that stop? Again, the slippery slope knows no bounds with that regard. I've never heard you speak about wearing masks during flu season, what is different now? Other than you're trying to feel good about doing your part by talking down to others? You're not preaching about preventative measures, vaccines, and treatments. You're literally talking about the worse Covid defense out there and somehow feel good about doing it?

Also, why is it my fault, you, or anyone else in poor health..... leaves the house? How is it my responsibility to cater to the end product of other people's health choices?

Numbers are crashing.... treatments are working..... some very well I might add..... and another vaccine was just approved and distributed to Oklahoma today. How much longer do you think it will last? Are we on the Faucci timeline here?
