Bug in. Can't really load up the dogs and everything else. If I have to make a stand, then I'd rather do it at home. And besides, I'm like right on Tinker's NW corner, so if Tinker goes, that'll be it anyway.

I think with nukes everyone without a bunker would be toast!!! Lol
Hiroshima was hit with an extremely dirty bomb and it is up and running . If you are not on the blast zone or the fallout zone life will survive.
Looking at property well away from large cities and military bases and looking at air flow charts could help ........ Of course I could be kidding myself but I need a good excuse to get the heck out of OKC. I want to set on the back porch and look at trees , not buddha belly screaming at his lap dog across the road .

Bugging in is the only option unless you have an established bug-out spot - your backpack with some tools and a few days of food isn't anything but a loot drop for a bandit unless you have a spot you can hunker down at that you're heading to. I think a lot of people have this romantic idea that they'll just hop in the car and drive off into the woods like they're Les Stroud or something despite the fact that they haven't been camping since boy scouts.

If you live in the inner city it’s like your bug in house will become your death trap. Bugging out isn’t just about taking your back pack and a couple of MRE’s. Most folks that chose to bug out actually have plans and have practiced this. I’ve got a younger neighbor, Ex-Army, that has a group of people that meets at his house every other week. They are all bugging out. These guys have put a lot of thought, work and planning into this. At least once a month they and their families all head out for a weekend camping out. Summer, fall, winter and spring. I don’t ask a lot of questions but I’ve gleamed that they have a number of bug out location including a couple out of state. This group has been together over 5 years. And I can do Les Stroud with the stuff in my bug out bag at the drop of a hat. My grandkids are quickly learning how to make do with what they have or craft up what they need.

We can get him too...the more the merrier.......then if needed we can convoy out to the secondary location south of blanchard down towards Dibble, have more guns, ammo, food, and well water with back up generators as needed down there.
Route noted.......

This is a bit of a sidestep to the OP but very associated.
A lot of folks on OSA know each other and can covey up to help each other during a bug in or bug out. But many of us dont know any OSA folks living close by. And since we all at OSA share a common desire to survive and help members survive I think we should have OSA signs the size of an ADT security sign at our house to let OSA bug out travelers know they are welcome during their journey.
