That's all she does, what drugs can or can't we get today.......what can we replace this with, maybe that, oh wait, we can't get that either...... Can't get this so we'll reserve this for the infants, and draw it up from an IV bag and start giving the adults this, but we can't hardly get that either. It's maddening. Xray contrast is in shortage now too, with no answer in sight. Start making all of this in the US and we don't have an issue, stop depending on China. 60 min leads you to believe it's the GPO and contracts, which is absolutely false. It's China dependency and the FDA, don't let anyone convince you otherwise.

Heck, for years we have had short supplies of a variety of drugs and medical supplies. For example, their is only 1 medical breeder reactor in North America to produce Molybdenum 90, the source for Technetium 90 for a variety of isotope scans. That reactor is in Canada and we don't have one because of... Politics and fear of Nuclear Energy. That is one of many reasons why health care costs are rising. We need to produce drugs HERE in the US.

It’s just plain stupid that we’re not manufacturing everything we need in the USA. The answer was usually “it would cost too much” .. Don’t see how anything could cost more than everything does now, and still rising. I could go on and on - bottom line is China (mainly) has us by the ️ - Oh yeah, and good ole’ Joe pissed China off again yesterday, so what now

Agreed, we're talking glucose tabs, gel shortages, saline, etc. Simple things among others not so simple.

Remember, roughly half the population and our current administration thinks “America First” is a bad thing. They have NO desire for us to be independent and self sustaining. If we were we would not need government to swoop in and save us from all the issues the government creates.

I saw that about the nuke bombers… Sad indeed - and totally agree with your thoughts. Have NO IDEA WTH is going on in D.C…. Not an ounce of common sense to be found. Hold on tight
