I actually kind of like the idea of dangerous, back-alley abortions. It is no doubt hazardous for women, but hey, if you're gonna off your own kid, maybe having some "skin in the game" isn't such a bad idea?

And then there's the irony of "conservatives" celebrating the decision - which, if the possible abortions instead result in births will do two things:

create more need for welfare state

create more left-wing voters on down the road

Complete dumbassery from both sides.

You forgot about all those babies no longer getting a free ride to heaven. I think the religious right must be anti babies going to heaven. They would be better off being raised by someone that wants to murder them.

This post is satire, for those that don’t understand that.

Yep, We should education and empower single moms to be self sufficient not dependent on others. Sadly many single moms are offspring of single moms. They learned from their mom how to take advantage of the welfare system for monitor gain. In some communities it is socially accepted to be under 18 and pregnant; thus the cycle of multiple kids out of wedlock with multiple unknown fathers. The kids become money generators via the welfare system.

At some point, the flow of free money from the government must stop. But it won't as long as politicians use social programs as a way to get votes.

My local school district, if the pregnant girl wishes, is placed on an accelerated learning program to help the young lady get as many school credits as possible. So many pregnant teens drop out of school, they try to get the ladies graduated, if possible. They also provide education on healthcare, being a new mom, etc.

Or maybe make the worthless men that abandon their women and children… Women are only 1/2 the problem in this. They didn’t impregnate themselves.

Make them what? I know a guy that participated zero in his three kids' upbringing. Two women, three kids, no support. He went to jail a few times over it, and was quite content to be broke, homeless and irresponsible.

He is far from being an outlier. How do you fix that, short of castration?

So I'm guessing being responsible for your own actions is too much to ask of a woman so killing the baby is fine.(Yes ladies I know a man has a part in this too).
There are ways a woman can keep from getting pregnant.
Seems no one takes responsibility for anything anymore.

And there are ways women can do nothing wrong and get pregnant. Guess we should blame women for being raped, during child bearing years, and not taking precautions like birth control.

Sad part about rape, there are many victims.

Women still have a choice, no matter what situation they are in, whether it be from foolish decisions or no choice of their own, to nurture and not kill the baby growing inside them, but give that life a chance. I've seen a whole lot of women very worked up and excited about killing their babies in the last week, and it is terrible. In the end, it comes down to is selfishness - a woman is weighing what she wants in life on a scale with the life of her child.

Men have choices too. They can be a man of honor who doesn't sleep around and put women in this place to begin with. They can stand for what is right and good and be a blessing to those who know them.

Both need to behave better and much less selfishly.

I was really speaking of the ones screaming and yelling and losing their minds over it, but I see your point that it doesn't have to be a decision made in selfishness though I think it usually is. I think of Obama when he was talking about his daughters and the whole why should something like this basically saddle or ruin a woman's future. It is all a matter of perspective. What was that future that was so great that it was worth killing your own child over? Even if things are hard, there is still a right decision and a wrong decision.

If you aren't married, go right ahead. If you are married, be prepared not to be.

Any man with the smallest amount of wisdom wouldn't be getting with this type of woman anyway. There is just nothing sexy about "by the way, if I get pregnant with your child I plan on murdering them because I'm lazy and selfish and you have no say in the matter. No, seriously, to feel like a full woman and because I am so smart and know what I am doing, I need to have the right to kill the baby growing in my womb."

It is insane that women were ever allowed to murder their babies like this.

I have eight children, six girls and two boys whom were raised in a conservative and religious home. I have about thirty plus grand and great grand children none of them woke or gay. I love my kids and their offspring. One thing my wife and I taught them is YOU are responsible for your choices so when the time comes for you to meet you maker your will be prepared to tell your Heavenly Father you took no innocent lives by abortion or any other means. These Ungodly killers of the unborn will one day stand before the judgement seat of God and will have to pay their evil ways.
