Just went out and got the paper off the driveway wearing shorts and a t-shirt and with that north wind blowing pretty good it's plum nippy out there.......think I'll see if I can sweet talk mama into fixing a big pot of beans and a pan of cornbread for supper.

I just got back from the ranch after getting it all setup for my brother, his wife and two sons and a grandson to enjoy.....the grandson is 10 and has been target shooting since age 7....he really wants to bag his first deer and now he'll get the chance as this is youth rifle weekend. Wish him luck....his parents have not let him hunt up till now because of his age, but the time has finally come.....

They took video pic's of the deer but I was unable to load the video....pic's above are his father putting deer blood on his cheeks which he says he will leave so he can show his friends at school on Monday.....I bet his mom will have something to say about that.....ha...ha...ha...

I LOATHE people who cut corners like that. Just drive me daft. I'm a do it right the first time and be done with it kinda gal. I will never understand these people who just willy-nilly **** together with scotch tape and a prayer.

I was fired off a job once because I wanted to do it right rather than fast. Oh well, went on to bigger and better

Good evening, All.

The wife and I are officially "on vacation." We turned in the work van today.

Bad news is that our RV isn't ready yet. They ordered two new windows to replace some defective ones and they were broken when they arrived. They are now waiting for the follow-up order to arrive.

Still gonna be busy though. The wife has a dental appointment tomorrow, we will get the windshield on our Expedition replaced on Wednesday, and then on Thursday, I go in for my eye injection treatment.
