I had the Rise trigger for a few hundred rounds before it quit working.

I'd use the LaRue over Rise but I have no experience with the LaRue trigger.

be very careful about which trigger you buy for a 308AR, some will not work or may require some filing to fit Like the POF cassette.

Also, some cassette triggers will not reliably/consistently set off hard primers if you try to use them in small frame AR for 7.62x39 and big frame 308 AR with surplus ammo. I did a review here years ago.
example, Rise, Timney AR10, POF, and a few others that i don't recall.
Regular trigger set with JP springs will not reliably/consistently set off hard primers either.

I like the La Rue for a 2 stage. Out of the ALG and Hiperfire mil spec style I've tried i like the Marksman hiperfire. The Rise 140 and Wilson combat TTU feel about the same to me. Anderson makes a stainless mil spec they include in some LPKs and combined with a JP red and yellow spring kit makes a 4.5 lb pull with a nice break for around $50.

It's on the back burner for now. I just don't shoot it . Probably won't bother changing it. I just don't like carrying it and I don't like the multi position stock. All it has going for it is it's pretty accurate. Other than that I don't like anything about it.
