We used to say they played by Treasury rules--they're completely arbitrary, made up on the fly, and exceptions are individual, not across the board. You know, the IRS way.

It doesn't seem like much has changed since they got punted over to Justice.

I have heard about this. I just dont know anyone in that age group.

The recent changes are part of the gun control legislation Biden and company passed last year. BATFE was created to regulate the trade in alcohol, tobacco, firearms, and explosives. That's what they do.
