Welp, got to read all the bills that came out of committee today for Public safety and the Tibbs stranglehold wasnt on the list.
Hum....................does white :bighug:

I would love to see a state wide vote on open carry. it is my belief, that our lawmakers do not have the resolve to ever let this bill get out of committee. Anyone care to hazard a guess on the outcome of a state wide vote on this issue.

I see where youre coming from with sheepdog, good read by the way, but I have seen, heard, and read wolf used with the same meaning in the context of self protection. But I see were sheepdog fits the profile.

The way I see it and its just my opinion is the sheeple will cower under there own will and follow as others do or say for the safety realm they feel most comfortable and all others should feel compelled to do the same. Protection in numbers is better than self protection or as with most sheeple these days a LEO is there protection or sheepdog.

A wolf or sheepdog, however you view it, feels compelled to protect the flock/ pack, family and friends, while seeking out those things which might seek harm to the flock or pack.

We all feel the need to be self reliant and protect ourselves and loved ones. We do so by choosing to carry a weapon be it in disguise (CC) or for all to see (OC). No matter which way we choose it serves the same purpose. When we carry we do so with the notion that at any moment in time we will be called into action to protect and defend from all things seeking harm.

So is that all the Bills that made it out for this session? I plan on emailing her to ask what is the continued holdup, and continue my campaign with the various Representatives, but I am not sure how the full process works in Oklahoma.

Is there a time frame on when Bills can be brought out of Committee for presentation to the full House? Where can I find the list of Bills brought out? When is the next opportunity for Bills to be brought out?

I caught a blurb on channel 9 a little bit ago about an open carry bill in Oklahoma. I would watch the news at 10:00 on 9 and make your decision from there.

I can't pick up any TV in my location. I'd ask if anyone would be streaming it, but that's illegal. (or maybe it isn't... OTA stations are a grey area there...)

OML web site, legeslative review section list status of Oklahoma Bills.
Am not sure if that is the release ofall Bills yet. Just to date.
I did find out that the House Speaker Chris Benge can allow or not any Bill released from Committee on to the floor.
If he doesnt support a bill it wont be heard.
