It sure is comforting to know that in just 10 more post I will be considered a better person
BTW: I support new members not selling
The amount of posts aren't as important as your feedback you get from other members. Some people won't deal with you even after you reach your 20 posts unless you have good feedback.
It's how I got started here; was looking for a particular rifle, googled "xxxxx for sale", and came up with an ad on OSA. Signed up, met the guy, bought the rifle, and have been here ever since. I don't too much mind new guys buying, but I'll agree on the no new sellers thing. The place shouldn't be used as an armslist alternative. A conspiracy website alternative - yes. Armslist alternative - no.
hell there are old members treating it like arsmslist the last few months
My way of getting here was pretty much the same. Bought the rifle been here ever since. I have seen people on here with a four year old join date and 60 posts. 48 of them are in the classifieds.
So if I understand this thread correctly
Since a group of OSA members (Newbies) has a few bad apples, all Newbies should be restricted from purchasing anything from the clasified section of OSA (already restricted from selling)
This sounds like the reasoning coming out of Washington these days for stricter gun control
