I'd recommend anyone looking for phones to check out Swappa.com.

It's basically a marketplace for phones and other such electronics - new, used, etc. Quite reputable.

I've bought 4 there over the years, all slightly used and very much under new price.

I used to use the Galaxy S series, I think I went up to the S4. When it became obsolete years ago (by obsolete, I mean no longer supported by Samsung update) I started looking around.

Spending $500-1000 for a phone is beyond my ken, so I looked further.

I now use Motorola, I've settled on the Moto G series. I just purchased a G7, direct from Motorola for just about $230.

It comes with Android 9, updatable. It is a fully functioning smart phone, the only thing it doesn't have is the wireless file trsnsfer.

This is my third G-series. It's functional,yet isn't stupidly expensive.
