Have it. I’m totally used to it. It’s what “quiet” sounds like.
And sometimes, "quiet" is the loudest freaking sound. I have had tinnitus since I went to see Five Finger Death Punch a few years ago. Many concerts and times at the range before then with no noticeable difference in my hearing. That 2 hour concert changed my hearing for life. Worst part? I actually planned on bringing ear plugs to the concert, but forgot them.

Plugs are not enough. One reason, bone conduction.

Since 06 I have done yard work with ear pro.

My hearing aids help a lot regarding “ the crickets”.

My hearing loss is courtesy of Uncle Sam aircraft.

Yep. Uncountable numbers of concerts, amps in my cars, 25 years in heavy industrial machining, motorcycles, race cars, and gunzz. That'll do it...

I started doubling up on hearing protection at the range. Mostly a useless idea for me as I’m fairly certain I’m subjected to non hearing safe levels at work. Need to get one of those meters and find out.

I started using mac's ear plugs along with ear muffs and it seems to help. When wearing shooting glasses I could never get a good seal because of the glasses.I had my hearing tested last year and have lost certain ranges of hearing.Probably will get tested every few years from now on.

I guess that's what I've got. I've gotta have some noise to listen to in order to go to sleep. A tv, radio or even a ceiling fan will do the trick. If I'm in a quiet place I hear a ringing that kinda pulses. To many tractors, grinders and hammers I suppose.

My dad has it and has said he can see why some have considered suicide. I hope I never get it. I have done a lot to damage my hearing. I just hope I don’t get this. I can deal
With not hearing well I just don’t think I can deal with constant ringing.
