Got this guy yesterday evening. I was setup on some persimmons and he cruised through about 8 minutes before the end of shooting hours. He was leaving the area when I spotted him. I grunted and he didn't respond, I then blew a doe bleat 4-5 times and stopped him. Hit the grunt again and then I snort wheezed and he came in. 35 yards

That's a beast of an 8 point. Congrats!

I don't have the pic, but a guy I know showed me the pic of a deer his friend shot near Lawton in muzzleloader that green scored at 209" and change and apparently will be the new state record.

Here is what my 14 year old son took. Was some great hunting on the ranch the last couple days. Lots of rutting activity and enjoyed the weather. Nice 9 point and great deer.
