11k rounds!? Nice haul. I’d say a S&W 15/22 or a CMMG conversion is in order. Like said above, the TX 22 might be worth a buy. I know I’ve been looking at them.
I’ll have to take a look, I’m not a Taurus fan so I haven’t kept up in what they have come out with.

I was thinking maybe a Glock 44, but really just any semi auto 22 handgun would be good

Damn that's a lot of .22lr. Hmm...

The cmmg conversion kits can also be picky. I'd look into it or try one before you buy. I could be convinced to loan mine out for what its worth in .22lr as "collateral" heh.

Not the most accurate and wont go more than a couple hundred rounds before the kit getting too fouled to function. Also don't want to buttstroke the rifle to get a stuck casing out. Mess up an extractor that way. Pull the whole assembly out making sure you're safe to do so. Also if you get the kit buy a few extra extractors because that is good amount of .22lr. Easy to swap out.

Very fun if the ammo works in it.
