What bullet weight do you go with, 155, 165, 180...? I have been carrying 180gr gold dots in my 229 but I have just started to carry a kahr pm40.

The "Original" .40S&W, the very gun was a Smith & Wesson 4006. CHP officers were the very first to tote it on duty. The gun and cartridge were both designed around the 180gr projectile.

My Glock 22 is stoked with 180gr Winchester Ranger SXTs. The "Caucasian" Talon, if you will.

180 grain Speer Gold Dot for me. Buy it online and it's cheaper. CTD has it for about $10 less than I can find in town.
