180 gr Ranger SXT's for me. Looking at the ballistics of most loads for the 40, it seems that the 165's most not be loaded as hot. They typically have close to the same FPS as the 180's with the 180's then having obviously more energy.

Thanks for all the responses. Ok so here it the second question...Firing a Kahr PM40 takes a strong hand. Which would be a more controllable recoil? 180gr heavy and slow, or 165gr light and fast?
