Go to the bakery section of your local grocery store or Sam's club. Icing comes in buckets. They'll dig one out of the trash for you. If not then tell them to save you one and come back later. They use a lot of buckets at Sam's. You can get 3 or 4 at a time. FREE!! Plus they are food grade. Watch out for those Atwoods or other type buckets they may not be goof grade.

Never heard of a "smart bucket."

Home Depot has the "Homer Buckets" on sale. You can find the lids in the paint dept. which are also on sale. The lids have a rubber o-ring seal. Both bucket and lid will cost around 3.50 +- tax.
