The steel on the silhouette range at OKCGC is not for shooting with any kind of modern rifle. You are more than welcome to take your own steel and set it up to shoot at but you are definitely not welcome to shoot at what is sitting out. Trust me, someone will quickly point that out if you ask as people in the past have damaged their targets.
I take my own steel poppers and shoot on the range. I have had several people stop by to make sure I was not shooting the club's targets that are sitting out. Once they find out I am not backing up the club's targets, they are very nice.
