technically the evaporator performs heat absorption, the heat transfer in a refrigerant cycle occurs in the condenser. of course he could have a geothermal heat pump mounted in his attic in which case his discription woul d be correct
Man!!! Didn't mean to do any ruffling. If heat is absorbed it is "transfered" from something to something else. Heat is transfered twice in the refrigerant cycle. Heat is moved in three ways conduction, radiation and convection.
