East side was a legitimate place to get some real cafe food!That's cause it was Fred Baker's Outdoor America store. Liked it better when it was a hole in the wall next to the movie theater.
It was Looboyles ! I worked at Southroads Mall location with Joe Krieger and Wanda Scott. Who had a hunting/ fishing tv show. And Bob Parkhurst who had a show on Krmg.
I miss Eastside Cafe at about Admiral and Gary in Tulsa
and it was Oertle's Out at 26th and Memorial O-e-r-t-l-e-s sung to the N-e-s-t-l-e-s- Jingle
I'm pretty sure the Sanditens owed it at one time. I think the original store was at pine and Garnett in Tulsa.I think this stood for Oklahoma Tire and Supply Company but not 100% on that.
That sounds like Casa Bonita used to be in Tulsa, all you could eat in a dark cave like setting!Their sopapillas with the butter and honey were the shiznet! My sis and I used to fight on who got to raise the flag!
