Had a great time last weekend at Rifle Dynamics in Las Vegas at their AK build class. We started with a box of parts and finished with a fully functional rifle. The FSB, GB, hand guard retainer and rear sight tower had been pressed onto the barrel prior to the class. This was a time saving decision to keep the class moving but thankfully all information was covered in detail step-by-step. 922r compliance parts were: US chrome lined bbl, muzzle device, receiver and trigger group. I have re-sized these photos but they're still freakin' huge....
Initial test fire: All rifles were left without lubrication. The instructions were to fire the rifle in any manner other than from the shoulder. If it was going to screw up, this would be the time. There was one out of thirteen rifles that had a problem. Easy fix.
Good times!
