Well lets get back to wood.
How will this suit play out when they get to lumber that is 5/4 inch?
I've only experienced that type of measurement when ordering hardwood that I wanted surfaced on 2 sides (S2S) to a specific thickness, 5/4 in this case. The nominal measurement of 2x4 is applied to softwood dimension lumber that shrinks due to kiln drying. The suit, like many filed today, merely exposes the ignorance of the plaintiffs and their liars...errrr, lawyers.
