Anyone know anything about Citadel 1911s?

I was handling one today, seemed pretty sweet wanted to see if anyone had any experience with one before I shell out $500 for it. From what I understand they are made by the same company as Rock Island Armory 1911s.

a quick google search turns up made by armscor about the same as a RIA tactical - good warranty on em - great customer service - but people seem to say go for the RIA tactical and save a bit. My RIA is a great shooter

Armscorp makes a good gun. Also check out the American classic II it's made by Metro arms of Manila its pretty nice too.

I have a Citadel compact and it is a great shooter. I added some Esmarelda thin grips to it for ccw purposes. When I bought mine in January I paid $420 new.
