A G-30 SF is what you want, if you have to have a .45 ACP in a Glock 19/23 size package. Okay, its just a tad bigger. The Gen 3's spring system allow it to be quite controllable for repeat shots. It's suitably accurate and then some. It won't run well on much of anything other than ammo with a profile resembling a 230 gr RN. HP's in that weight/contour run great. Capacity is 10 + 1; a bunch in a small package. I can get a full grip on it, with the factory longer 10rd mags.

Yes, and it will take the 21 mag, which holds 13+1. Excellent!!!

So it was the g36 that had the odd mag, and I think they had some feeding issues with it as well.?

G-36 takes a special single-stack mag, the only one in the Glock stable of handguns. The mag gave Glock fits when the gun was first introduced.
