Most people call a National Championship Ring Success. Jalen Hurts Played in 3 National Championship Games.
How many OU QB's have played in NC Games the last 15 years ???
He went to Alabama first to make SURE he got a National Championship ring.
BTW he STAYED and GRADUATED with a degree before Lincoln Riley recruited him to Oklahoma.

Jalen Hurts still has many fans in Alabama and no matter how hard YOU try you can never take all the BAMA and Nick Saban out of him.

You're not getting it. Sure he had success, but why sit behind a guy who's rear you've saved when you want to play on Sunday. He went with the program that will give him the best chances to do that and it wasn't Bama. He probably looked at the Big 12 QBs that are starting in the NFL right now. His numbers at OU will blow away anything he did at Bama. It's obvious he knows that, and it will improve his chances to play at the next level, win a Heisman, etc.

None of this changes what I said. Lots of guys graduate with a year of eligibility as he HAD to LOL....otherwise you sit a year. That's why they call it a graduate transfer....I'm sure you knew that though. :D

Where was JH gonna go if not OU? Another SEC team? That's like mutiny man. The stars were aligned with Kyler leaving. It was a no brainer for Hurts. He comes here, he plays. He gets the opportunity to shine, it's up to him to do it. He's done that. He's put up better numbers than Baker and Kyler (so far) and he was sitting on the bench back "home" and that's not what he went there to do.

There's a huge camaraderie thing with top level teams and he could be all up in social media spreading it thick, but he's not. Hurts not being butthurt about being benched just shows what kind of person he is. And coming to OU wasn't all that extraordinary, afterall he hails from Houston.
