Armslist scam M1A

This ad got me going...was ready to pounce.

It is, however, copy and paste from a post on a forum from 8 years ago.

2 things to look at to tell if it's a scam

1.) Price, it's very rare to find a legitimately priced firearm on armslist.com

2.) Location, scammed never post exact location (they write Oklahoma,Oklahoma or Tulsa, Tulsa) instead of okc,ok or tulsa, ok

They also directly refer to shipping in their ad. Most sellers prefer not to

I've had pretty good luck on Armslist. 3 of my last 4 have been from there and alot of cheap ammo too.

The guy responded to my call this evening..."I'll cover the shipping" yada yada yada. I told him I was interested and to send the payment info to the link provided, then gave him the link to the old forum post I had found and he didnt seem too amused.

There is a posting on the S&W Forum tonight of a fellow getting scammed on Armslist and losing his money:

I have bought many guns off Armslist without any problems. You can bet it is a con when price is way low.
