And yet, here we are with court cases like Britto v. ATF, Mock v. Garland, VanDerStok v. Garland, etc…. Chevron deference has got to be curtailed severely and posthaste.

Yeah, I'm tired of having to wait on the SCOTUS to tell the ATF "you can't do that" every time we turn around. Getting a little monotonous.

Congress did pass a law. Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (BSCA) Passed in 2022. This law expanded the definition of “engaging in the business”. If you engage in the business, you need a FFL. The AG said this new rule is in compliance with that law.
That's where the disagreement is. Repubs are saying this new rule change isn’t in the law & Dems say it is. So, wait for the lawsuits.
