Absolutely, but that's not how they see it. Therein lies the rub.

They haven’t seen it that way since the SCOTUS torpedoed the Republic with its disastrous Wickard v. Filburn decision. That basically gave the Feds carte blanc to poke their noses into whatever the hell they want.

ATF got transferred from Treasury to DOJ early in this century.
