It is important to be able to recognize the different types of wild beavers in the outdoors. One should educate themselves and only poke at those beavers that are somewhat tame and inviting. It is important to stay away from those "angry beavers", as it will only end in pain and bloodshed.

When in the country, there are times you must go deep into the bush to find the beaver. Once in Canada, while fishing, there were several beavers that had not seen many men, and therefore were not ready for the encounter. I had to go into bush that was extremely thick just to see it. Hedge clippers are handy in these situations. Be careful to to break your rod when you have to go deep into the bush, the tangles can get you!

Saw on the news last night that the state was unable to test for rabies because the brain was mush. Apparently the father took a hunk of wood and put a beating on said beaver.

Whenever possible, you should always take a photo of the beaver, video is even better. You know, for identification purposes later....:lookaroun

Yeah yeah
guys like you always say you want to see the beaver, but you really want to look at what it's attacking.
