My neighbor had a blackjack fall over and I am going to cut it for the wood. He told me there is a hive in the trunk that is now on the ground. He covered it up with large pieces of bark so the snow/rain wouldn't soak it. That was several weeks or months ago. I walked over today and saw a few bees coming and going so I assume they are still there.

If interested, let me know soon. I am located near I-35 and Memorial.

I once fought a beehive with a 2x4. The hive was in a water shutoff box. I went in swinging and stole their honeycomb. I can't believe I didn't get stung. It seemed legit when I 11. I wouldn't do it again.

Come on...surely there is a beekeeper in my area. I am about to post to craigslist but hoped someone on here would want them.
