beware remington 22 ammo

i was firing remington 22 ammo in my ruger MK3. I had one round make a wierd nose. Kind of a muffled bang. Bullet lodged in bore.

glad i noticed the odd sound and didn't fire another round!


I tried to call remington but got put on eternal hold.

Can you be more specific? I stay away from their bulk ammo but other than that haven't had any problems.
I also avoid federal bulk ammo by the way. Sometimes they sound louder or less and I find lots of vertical stringing on target.

I've shot plenty of remington bulk 22lr ammo and I've had a few weak loads but never had a
bullet lodge in the barrel, I shoot a 10-22!

I got some 525 bulk remington recently. I'll have to be careful.

never had problems with Remy .22, but will be careful.

I've never had any real problems with Remington bulk other than in my Buckmark. The thing just does not like that stuff.
