It skipped over Hudson?

I wonder how long before it hits Webbers Falls and Kerr, or creeps upstream into Spavinaw and Eucha?


At least we still have Tenkiller, for now.

Blue Green Algae really isn't algae it is a cyanobacteria. And an anaerobic one which makes them particularly nasty. Oxygen kills them pretty darn fast so if they're getting into our lakes there is something pretty serious going on.

That said BGA shows up in stagnant, high temp, low light, water where oxygen levels are low to non-existent. Somehow I don't see how those conditions can be all that common in a lake.

My guess is the problem is actually a real algae, not BGA and some reporter was doing a visual self inspection of their rectum from the inside.

Well there hasnt been that much rain so I can see where the water isnt moving so getting stagnant. is there a list of every lake this has happend to and if it has happend to other states?
