I like two beavers at once with a blue throbber.
Something in .243 Winchester should be perfect for beaver. Might be a better choice than .308.
That is just what is leaning on my tailgate. Kills them just fine. I have shot quite a few with a .22lr too though. I am thinking the .17 HMR might be just the ticket.
Why kill beaver?
When fishing, I tend to go deep in the bush and poke the beaver with my pole. I never kill them, but have eaten a few.
